About Us

G & M Automotive Service has provided personalized auto repair and diagnostic services in Monrovia, for almost 40 years. We value our customers and work hard to provide both technical expertise and customer satisfaction. We specialize in German and European cars, following factory procedures in diagnosing, repairing and refurbishing vehicles. Each car is tuned and serviced according to individual customer needs.

We love our work and take great satisfaction in providing stellar auto repair services for our clients. Our mechanics perform all diagnostic, maintenance and auto repair work according to precise factory procedures. We strive to build long-term relationships with each client based on our work ethic, attention to customer needs and the mechanical and aesthetic attributes of each automobile. We back our work with a 12,000-mile, 12-month warranty.

We are affiliated with major professional auto repair and service organizations, including the American Automobile Association, National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and the Automotive Service Councils of California. Our mechanics are certified by ASE in several categories. In addition, our shop carries the ASE Blue Seal of Excellence, the highest recognition given to auto repair and maintenance garages by this organization.

Family Owned and Operated Since 1989

Our owner, Robert Wieczorek, began servicing German cars in Germany at a young age under the guidance of his father. After completing a college degree, he gained additional hands-on experience as a mechanic with a Porsche dealer in Los Angeles County. In 1989, he purchased G & M Automotive Service.

Many of our mechanics are former U.S. military personnel. Robert trains each employee, ensuring that the high standards of G & M Automotive Service are maintained in each job. Robert also mentors his staff, helping them gain experience and confidence in their work. Under Robert's tutelage and guidance, several certified mechanics have opened their own auto repair and maintenance businesses.

Meet Our Team

JoeMaster Technician
Has been a technician since 1974. He is our Master technician of 15 years and very detailed oriented. Joe is a gentle soul and father of four. Former army specialist. Serving also oversees. We trust his expertise and experience. He will always make sure that our customers are safe in their vehicles on the road.
DaveAnalyst / Bookkeeper
Dave aka “The Ductore.” He is our wise, handy dandy bookkeeper and analyst. Former Rocket Scientist that worked with the U.S. Air Force.
DavidManager
Worked as a service manager with Ford for a couple of years and was a service advisor for even longer. Worked with Vermeer for 10 years as their parts manager. Also a fully certified technician. He makes sure that they only repair what is needed and informs the customer what is needed next in the near future. When the customer receives their car back after being serviced he will take the time to show and explain what was repaired and why. David's knowledge and experience always exceed our customer's expectations.
